Steam sale & Portal 2

Steam summer sales

Noticed the steam summers sales had started, didn’t really pay attention to them because I thought I’m not going to need any new games, I was wrooong. Few days ago I bought Portal 2 and after that left 4 dead 2 and now Saints Row: The Third, and I somehow got so hooked that I even opened my computer in the morning before leaving to work. There’s still a few hours till the sales end, and keeping my eye on things if there would be something I would want.

Well not quite.

Been playing portal for few evenings now, love it. Only thing that annoys me is that when I spend super long trying to find how to do a certain test area and in the end I find the simplest solution there is, seems like I always think the hard way. And the ball that was supposed to be my friend turned evil =(  well time will tell how it ends up. The test area editor was pretty awesome too; just have to learn to use it. Also can’t wait to try the co-op mode, which should have its own plot.

I also downloaded this game called Draw Something on my phone, its a pretty fun game even though I suck at drawing still. Playing it every evening. :D

Weekend festives

We had my sister’s confirmation party at home this weekend. Day started by helping sister with her make up and then rush to make myself somewhat ready, then we were of to the church where it was held. At this point I want you to know that; no I’m not religious or my family, but it’s a kind of tradition to go to this kind of camps when you belong to church, it’s mainly to have fun and make memories. After a 2h in church we finally got home, fortunately I was taking pictures so the time went by a little faster. At home gathered relatives and friends and then we ate cake and COOKIES!

Minecraft

 I’ve been lately finding myself from playing Minecraft again with my friends. We started to play this mod called Tekkit, its uses new kind of machinery for example you can have your own nuclear power plant on your basement. You use the energy to various different machines that make some specific materials or stuff. My friends enjoyed it really much, but I kept it simple and ordinary cos I’m no good with engineering those pipes and machines :D I just made a small place that I called home and tamed 5 wolfs and 1 ocelots. I planned to do a secret volt but I couldn’t be arsed. Just exploring and  marveling everything that the others have done. Here is a few pics from our resident.

We also found this world that has been build on game of thrones, it was insanely awesome. You could so recognize all the places in the series; I hope they make it so that people can really play there, maybe not build but role-play.

Gimme a break

Working is taking such a toll on me, been super tired for days and the weekend shift wasn’t helping.  That’s why I haven’t made any posts lately. Now finally weekend, but have to help on sisters celebration on Sunday and on Monday going to look for an apartment from the town in going to study. So going to be busy busy.. :D

Also got this epic music that I listen to from my friend, its really nice to listen to when working, too bad I can’t dance while listening to it. Thank you Eddie! :)

For the Horde

Long time ago I was thinking of buying a WoW shirt from Jinx store, which these days have awesome shirts and other stuff from many different games. I was close to buy few items but when they all added up to the final cost I thought again, damn this I’ll make one myself. I made the horde logos first and when they worked out nicely I made the one with cat paw and the logo. The paint has stayed on surprisingly well and I’m really happy that I took the effort to do them. Saved there nicely but still I grave for more, like 1-up shirt. :D

My shirt printing instructions

Materials for the shirts:

·         Shirt of your choice

·         Textile paint

·         Paper to draw/print the form

·         Carpet knife or scissors to cut out the form

·         Safety pins or tape to make the f

·         Paintbrush and sponge

·         News paper under the painted canvas

·         Iron to make the paint stick

Then it’s pretty simple, place your paper with the form you want cut out of it to the shirt. Put a little news paper under the canvas so it won’t stick to anything else. Then just start pressing the paint to the shirt with the sponge. You can do the finishing touches with the paint brush. Ones you had your figure on the canvas, let it dry about 24h. The last thing is to iron the picture to the shirt. The paint will melt a little and stick to textile better, but make sure not to bun your shirt.

The best dog - Saga

This is my family’s dog, her name is Saga just like my nick. I think it was a beautiful name for my druid so I kept it and also from that on used it everywhere. She is about 5 years old now and her breed is Kooikerhonje (I guess that’s how you write it in English too).  She is just a pretty dog, too bad I am not able to see her every day now when living in my own apartment. Sometimes I feel she is such a lady, not going out to the rain and stuff, but she also goes hunting with dad and becoming good at it. Maybe not the best hunting dog yet, but she chases rabbits and birds well. The only sad thing that worries me is that she doesn’t like unknown people even if they are my friends. But usually when she smells food she calms down, just have to always inform my friends to ignore her.

She also has this way of greeting us when we come to visit, she smiles. She opens her mouth wide and shows her teeth, it might look scary, but when we know that she is just happy, we just greet her warmly. Maybe that’s why she doesn’t get along with other dogs, misunderstood body language.
